![]() ![]() I've also read that loading such a tune will flash a date (the date it was loaded I guess) and if that date is later than what the OEM factory tune should be that can lead to detection. I've read before that when you load an 'unapproved' tune it sets some sort of flag in the ECM. But I don't know how they do that for sure. I know from this forum and others I visit that the Power Vision tuner is touted as being able to restore the OEM factory tune and the prior presence of a PV tune cannot be detected. Not knowledgeable enough to understand a real technical explanation. My other question is if it does in fact work, how does it work when other tuners seem to get caught? Please keep explanations simple for my simple mind.HAHA. I said no thanks (in case it didn't work) and maybe we could use one of their new bikes on the showroom floor.you can guess how that answer went. They said they'd be willing to let me try it out on my trike. I'm curious if anyone has a PV installed and running a tune, then went back to the original tune and no red flags showed up? My local dealership sells the PV, so I asked them about it and they agreed that it "should pass" the digital technician test, but couldn't swear to it. So my question is this.Has anyone actually tried this and passed the "lie detector' test? I'm not talking about "in theory" or that it "should be fine". I've read in several posts that you can go back to the factory tune before taking it in for service and the diagnostics unit it gets hooked up to can't tell that another tune was put in the ECM. I had one on my 2013 trike and loved how I was able to get the trike to run so well. I have a question about the PowerVision being installed on a 2018 Triglide. ![]()
